Beverage / Independent CGI study

A bottle in motion.

A self-directed CGI film for a restaurant wine.

A self-directed CGI animation exploring how a restaurant's locally produced white wine could be presented with the precision and restraint of a technology launch. I developed the label graphics, bottle, materials, lighting and motion, then edited the final silent film.

Role: Art direction, label design, CGI, animation and editing.

01 / The challenge

How can a familiar restaurant wine be framed with the clarity, focus and controlled movement usually associated with a technology product launch?

02 / The starting point

The project began with a locally produced white wine and label graphics created for a restaurant. Working without technical bottle references, I designed the bottle and visual environment independently.

03 / The approach

I built and animated the bottle in Blender, developing the glass, liquid, paper label, lighting and camera movement as one cohesive system. Illustrator and Photoshop supported the label artwork and textures, while Premiere Pro was used to shape the final edit.

04 / The outcome

The result is a 12-second silent CGI film that moves from tactile label details and wine service to a clean three-bottle composition. It translates a regional product into a concise, product-led visual study.
